Cheap farkle

    All the gold lettering was flaking off the side covers so I went red. I had some car door edge trim and put it around the tank pinch weld. Makes the girl a little classier. You can get it in silver, black, gold or red. Got mine at Pep Boys auto. 4 bucks.

    You probably can't see it too well, but if you look at the tail-end of the 750 Maxim tank on my xj650k full-dresser (the black bike up in the Showcase) you can see there is chrome doortrim on the tank. Did that about 10yrs ago--- as well as no tank badges. The tank has ghost flames on it, too....
