    Looks?
    They L@@K fine!

What you need to know is how they perform.

It wouldn't take 30-days to figure that out.
If they don't ride well; the advert says "Money back".

I've spent more than $80.00 for USED Shocks.
If you have 80-Buckarooskies to snag a pair, ... take a shot.

When it comes to shock absorbers, you get what you pay for. Cheap shocks will probably work "ok" but not last; the more you spend, the better the performance you'll get.

You don't NEED to go to the top end ($1500 or more) but you'll get better service life from a name brand like Ikon or Progressive without going broke in the process.

Hope the shocks are better than the seller's grammar...

thanks for the replies fellas, after a bit of a search on the internet, im looking at around 500 bucks overhere for a decent set, i think those cheapies wont cut it, just for interest sake , does anybody else occasionally grind the bottom of the brake pedal or left hand side of the centre stand when cornering? im not evil knevil by any stretch of the imagination, but sometimes when cornering and you hit a slight dip it feels like it is bottoming out,i have no doubt i need new shocks.

Ken have you thought about looking for some second hand Koni's or Marzocchi's on E-Bay and having them rebuilt?

Mate I cant give you an idea on cost but it strikes me that a decent shock rebuilt will be probably better value than something thats a cheapy from the start, maybe get the ones you have on the bike now redone?
I haven't dealt with these guys myself but heard good things from others got a set I will be taking them eventually.Bloody kids expect to eat everyday! hows a man supposed to finance his hobby.

You might try dealing with the Salvage-man.
They don't like to hear you say: "Junk Yard"

You might find a pair on a bike that someone crashed recently.

thanks for the tips, the problem downunder with wreckers is they dont have much here, i havent even seen a xj on the road and when i used to ring them they werent much help with anything like my bikes, the hagons look promising and i dont think it would be very economical rebuilding the originil ones from the bike. i will give this more time after xmass, by the way a happy and a safe one, see ya.

You should be able to get Progressives down there without getting gored too badly; a set of 12-series plus springs usually works out to around $250 or so here.

not wrong bushy, cant wait to get the kids to school in the next hour, spend 20minutes at woolies then i think i might go up Mt Nebo or Mt Glorious for a spin, not to bad week days, dont have to worry about the sports bikes coming up behind you as much.
