I have been fighting a slightly lean condition and I remembered something Rick wrote in a post a while back that I was meaning to try. Namely, adding a little MMO to each gasoline tankful. For the last three tanks, I have been adding 1 ounce of MMO at the gas station before I fill the tank so it mixes well while filling. I carry the MMO in rinsed out Scope mouthrinse 2 oz travel bottles I keep in the "trunk" under the seat.

I'm not sure if the results in the picture below are from the MMO putting the clean to my passages or if it's from the little bit of oil in the fuel/air mixture during combustion or both. Either way, I think this is doing good things to my motor that has over 44,000 miles on it.

I cannot complain with the results.

Those look pretty good to me!

Not sure if the MMO is the "culprit" but you will know when you stop doing the treatments and look at the plugs after a few tanks.

Doesnt look too bad. Little on the lean side. Try the next tank without MMO and run around for like 30 miles. Then check
I assume you're doin a plug chop and also checking the plugs after letting her idle for 5 min after a ride?

    Marvel Mystery Oil.

Even if you do need to add Marvel Mystery Oil to your Fuel to reduce the effect of a Critically Lean Condition ... it's OK
The Product was developed as a Top Cylinder Lube.

The presence of MMO in the Fuel will --> S-L-O-W -- D-O-W-N the Critically Lean flash burn and prevent the Bike from overheating.

If you are embarking on an adventure that will have you riding at high-speed on the InnterState for several hours, ... adding some Marvel Mystery Oil to your Fuel will make the ride more pleasant.

Because it's burned with your Fuel ...
    It lubes the Cylinder
    Makes the Bike run Cooler
Softens the Combustions to act Like a Rich Mixture and reduces the chance that you'll be fatigued by the so-call Harmonic Noise that those little Rubber Wedges in the Cooling Vanes are supposed to help reduce.

The product also boasts of having properties that remain unburned which help to remove deposits from Valve Faces and Stems.

I know I'm a believer. My tired old motor was running like a swiss watch on a 60 mile ride I took on Sunday.
