Checked frame-drainholes..

    Been wondering why I had a lot of ruststains on my rightside muffler and found it to come from where the frame is assembled (the rear 2 bolts of the section you remove to take the engine out). Figured it was water entering the frame via the "airhole" just under where the driver/passengerseat meet.

    Then I read in the german XJ-Forum about drainholes in the frame (one in each side, below the footpegs) and one of them was clogged; when cleaning it with a piece of wire, about 3 dl. of rusty water poured out.

    Must have been so much that it could escape through the 2-bolt junction when driving...
