choke only show 2k rom during warm up

    When starting the bike the revs only go between 2k and 2.5k with choke on once warm after about 3 mins it will site and 1300 rpms. which is cool, just wondering if i should be checking something for the low choke rpms or am i just worried for nothing?

    It could be that you're giving more "choke" than it needs. As I recall my 650 wasn't happy if I moved the lever more than 1/2 way.

    What really matters though is how it runs with the choke off. If that's good, and you can get it started, wait until the snow flies to worry about little stuff.

    2k is normal for full choke. 1300 when warm is too high though.

    and it does take a couple of minutes before it idles smoothly.
    the main thing is getting the bike started.
