Clean reg/rec ?

    Would it hurt to clean the oxidation from the fins of my regulator/rectifier with a wire brush? I also need a crankcase union. I put a WTB in the sell forum. Thanks in advance.

    go ahead and wire brush it, removing the oxidation should let it run cooler
    i wouldn't use any liquid.
