While I was out riding the other night, the dead flies got so thick I tried to rub them off, which ended up in a slimy mess so thick I had to tilt my head back to see the road. I had nothing on hand to clean it with when I got home, so I soaked a paper towel with some hand sanitizing gel, the stuff full of alcohol. It lifted the bugs free, left no streaks whatsoever, and left me with a visor that is almost impossible to fog up, no matter how hard I breathe onto it with my mouth from the inside.

Thanks Mac, I'll give it a shot. I've tried the Rain-X anti-fog but it only seems to work for an hour or so.

    Thanks Mac!
It's funny how sometimes you find things out by accident. ...like the time me and my gal were in the back seat of my car and...oops - you don't want to know what kind of experiment I was doing

Was told that soap (plain hand washing solid bar) polished on the inside of the visor stopped fogging and it does :).

If you do not get the bugs off ASAP they leave permanent little marks on your visor, something in them eats the plastic.
