click noise under light brake application

    Click noise from front brakes only under light brake application and will go away if apply brake harder.

    Do you have drilled rotors? My Maxim did and I could hear a very faint ticking noise with the brake slightly applied. It was not there when the stock rotor was on so I associated it with the swap.

    Do you have the tools to check the run out and see if they are slightly warped?

    +1 ^, sounds like there is a little something out of alignment. Nothing that will cause you riding issues but as you state, you can hear it and so need to look into it.

    Was able to duplicate noise while turning wheel and applying hand brake but it would have been nice to have another set of hands LOL, brake pad slap... the majority of the issue is going to be just adjusting the antirattle plates and also going to replace the retainer pins due to some wear on them.
