Clubmans prolly go better with less rise, you shouldn't have no prob finding some on fleabay for about $10

Ok, so i ended up making some at my work out of some very random peices of hardware. Good news is theyre strong as hell and only cost me $20 (as compared to $50-$160) they also keep the clubmans low to the forks which looks awesome.

Pics please? I'm still debating on Clubmans or keeping the straight bar on the 4" riser and putting a headlight fairing on it (like in SoA)

Basically its a split clamp that i took the allen screws out of (they were 1/4-20 thread) and ran two longer bolts from under the plate into the clamp. I had to use spacers to push it up off the plate. I also used the same spacers to fill the gap inside the plate. (because the holes are 3/8 in the plate) if you need a diagram ill try to draw one for you. haha

Looks good, but is it strong enough for the long haul?

I havent ridden it yet but i used grade 8 bolts and washers and the clamps are solid steel. If i had to put money on it (and in this case my life) i would. theyre real sturdy though. I wont have the bike in running order for awhile but ill make sure i update on how they hold up.
