Now that i am commuting daily, Winter has arrived along with "clunky" gear changes. You can feel it and hear it as you change gears. I changed oil and filter (Yamaha 15w-40) only 1200K's ago. Temperature has changed from 30-40C, down to 5C in the morning and 15C on way home. Daily run is out the drive on choke (06:30am trying not to wake neighbours with the 4in to1), 5km's@100Km/h, then 5@80, then 5@60, afternoon is reverse. Still feels clunky when i get to work. Is it just the oil grade and not warming up enough or do i have other problems to look forward to? :?:

Your oil is too thick for winter. The manual says to use 10W/30 below 15 C.
