    hi-
recently my clutch was slipping a bit so i tried to adjust. I loosened and tightened at both ends, njot knowing really what i was trying to do. Problem is i think i screwed something up in the process. it pretty much doesn't work now. its hard to squeeze and doesn't disengage. its seems to disengage but doesn't accelerate. it does engage, accelerate but is extremely slow and if slips if i give it almost any gas. the clutch pedal is hard to move. the clutch lever is comletely loose for a half inch before engaging. it does all of these things depedning on if I loosen and/or tighten. did i mess something up???

Sorry this hasn't been answered. Just got missed somehow. The basic premise of adjusting is to get about 4mm of free play at the clutch lever and at the same time having the clutch work. Can't really mess this up unless you pulled in too hard on the clutch and broke something. I would set the clutch lever adjuster to about half way screwed in and lock it. Then adjust the lower cable adjuster until you get that 4mm of play a the clutch lever. If that doesn't work then post your findings. Couldn't hurt to lube the cable either since it may be binding also.

Ding ding ding! Thanks Hoonz. There is no clutch "pedal". Now if you are stepping on the rear brake that may be hard to move.
