clutch cables should be the same right?

    im on e bay because my clutch able broke on my 80 650. they have a cheap aftermarket cable for same year xj l model.... should be the same right? i think mines the g. oh by the way.... WHAT A FUN RIDE WITHOUT A CABLE!! :)

    i had a problem with an ebay cable on mine, its a (special) maxim and the cable i got was way to short,more for a seca with the lower handle bars, got the right on off len here and all is sweet,

    I've got an 80 xj650 g and cable said 80 to 83 xj 650 l. I bought it anyways..lol hope it works..

    Hope so, but it's ebay, so doubtful :/ Len is always there to help if the one you got is wrong.
