    I am looking for the rubber clutch lever cover for my 82 maxim 650 J
    and the rubber boot barrel adjuster cover.
    anyone out there might have one?
    I have an extra the brake lever boot cover in vg condition if you want to trade?

    I went to a self-serve auto salvage and pulled an accordian-boot off a shifter cable from some Asian import [can't remember the brand].

    Then I shortened it. The small end fits over the clutch cable sheath, and the remainder consists of "bellows". When shortened, the other end fits over the round cable adjuster. looks great and cost almost nothing.
