Hey yall! Been a while since Ive had any issues! Which is a good thing. And I've been talking to Len about this for a little bit and he gave me some helpful advice but nothings wrong with a second opinion!
I have a few questions for yall. A few problems have arisen in the past two days. And i think I have my answers, but not 100% sure. So any insight would be appreciated! What else is a forum for!?
I sync and colortuned the bike and get excellent results!! The new Mac exhaust sounds great after the new orings and colortune. Ran great in the low rpms. But I took a ride today, and when i really get on it, around 5k rpms revvin up, the bike stutters a little bit and sounds like its havin a hard time gettin to speed.
After applying the Mac exhaust I believe it is more open than the stock exhaust. No collector box. So i guess I need a step up on Main Jets is what I was thinkin.
Next..... A more serious problem I was comin around a corner today and shifted up into gear. I dont remember what gear i was in, second or third. Let go of the clutch, and revved up like always. No power, and I revved it too hard and definatly red lined. Let go of the throttle and pulled in the clutch and let go and tried again and she caught. Took off fine. Happened twice. First time I thought it was me. Nope. Definatly the bike...
Sooo thinking new clutch plates, springs, and friction plates may be in order... Unless... something else is slipping that Im not thinkin about.
So yeah, it was a fun day Hopefully its not life threatening for maxine

Chacal had mentioned that for my exhaust prob to put on the choke just a little bit to supply extra fuel to the cyls. Good Idea, I think i'll try it.
As for the clutch I replaced friction plates and springs about a year and a half ago, and have had no problems until today. Chacal said it sounds like it may be hanging, rather than slipping. How would I go about checking and repairing!?
Its always something with these bikes :)
    Thanks for everything yall
    -Chris
