    Hi all,

I'm working on a 750 Midnight Maxim engine as discussed in a recent thread. Will link to that thread below. I'm also working on 550s and 650s. Basically, I bought a bunch of unworking bikes at very little cost.

I had a bolt break off when I was torquing my clutch springs On the 750 Maxim. Was at 7.2 pound feet so it must have been on it's last leg.

At any rate, I have this and several clutches to look at. Is it the same tool for all 550, 650, and 750 models? eBay searches are inconclusive.

    Thank you,

    Aaron

So update here, I lucked out and managed to get that bolt out.

Still would like to know about clutch tools though.

Perhaps. If so, it's the same for all XJ models except the 1100's.

Hi, sorry I don't log on here much.

Yes that answered my question chacal. It's the clutch holding tool. Thank you.
