    Not hard and it depends on whether or not you need new "plain" plates and on where you buy your parts.

    Put EBC CK2255 into the google machine and you'll find some in the UK, that's friction plates only, for an XJ750 and many others.

    just changed my 8 friction plates on my '82 XJ750J Maxim....don't forget to order the clutch cover gasket as well....easy job to perform.....
