Color Tune Question

    Got a "Gunson" Colortune system early last month, came for a 12mm plug. Works great on a XJ550, but I've got an '81 XJ650 that takes 14mm plugs. :evil: It's too late to return this, does anyone know if a 12mm to 14mm adapter exists out there?

    Not from Colortune. They only make reducer adapters to use the 14mm plug with 12 or 10mm plug threads. May be able to find some for a 12mm pressure gauge that you use to read cylinder compression.

    No, and I wouldn't advise an adaptor. Why not spring for just the plug of the correct size for your application? Chacal has them, check out his Parts For Sale thread on the For Sale forum. The Gunson company also sells just the plug for folks that have multiple applications.
