    Very cool, worked like a charm. But the extension rod barely fits between the plug and the coil. Had to bend it, think I bent the plug in the process. Does this happen to everyone?

    The problem I've had with mine is that the glass gets soft when i run it, so if you pull on the electrode too hard you can move it

    Mind you mine is the really old school version, and I think its pretty much worn out :?

    glass? i think its plastic
    glass glows before it melts and it would crack when its cooling down

    I just bought a never used, but older colortune. The thing is in perfect condition but it is missing the little mirror at the top of the tube. Is this a big deal, can i tune without it?
