Hi everyone. pretty new here, and just cleaned carbs recently after sitting for a few years. Just wondering if anyone in the milwaukee/green bay area has a colortune.

I've got a Colortune. I'm 45 miles SOUTH of Milwaukee - not anywhere near Green Bay. If you can't find someone closer, we could probably work something out, though.

 

Well, itll be a little while before i will be needing it now, me and the xj went round for round this weekend, and turns out my starter is cooked. I opened it up to clean it a little, and it was packed full of oil, dirt, you name it. So im currently looking for a starter somewhere, then I would need it. But yea, i dont know how you would rather go about it, if you would want to like ups or fed x it, i will pay shipping both ways, plus whatever you want for letting me use it. But once i get it going, might have to take a ride down by you on the bike, with my bro, who also has 81 550 and buy you a beer or something. just let me know what you are willing to do, and get back to me. like i said, itll probably be a couple weeks before i can come up with cash for starter, so take your time

 

If you're not too far from Sheboygan County Memorial Airport, or Fond Du Lac, or. . . . well, if you just tell me what airport you're near, an air-mail delivery is not out of the question some evening after work. If that doesn't work, shipping is the stand-by option.

Or, if you don't need it until July, I will more than likely be up at Oshkosh, so could meet up with you somewhere along the way.
