Compatibility Calipers??

    Hi All,

    I have a 1997 Seca 2. The rear caliper has seized. In my internet findings I have come across a 1995 FZR600 rear caliper for very cheap and working. Does anyone know if they are a compatible swap? They look exactly the same. Any thoughts?

    The parts list does not show it being used on both machines.

    It may physically fit, but the FZR caliper is dual piston, so the master cylinder on your bike will be undersized. You'd need to also fit the master from the FZR for it to work safely. More cost (and you might need to fabricate brackets), but it would be an upgrade.
