Anyone know why Yamaha designed the front brake system on the Maxims with a two brake line set up? Why did they put that fitting between the two lines? Im redoing the front brake set-up on my 81 chop and want to switch from the two line setup to a single steel braided set up. I just wanted to make sure the fitting didn't have any type of cooling feature or something that Im not seeing. Thanks
