I am still working on a project bike and I am currently attempting to hide the coils. I think I am going to hide them on the under side of the tank affixed to the down tube. I have attached a photo of were they will go. What I was wondering is will this mounting and placement cause any issues that anyone is aware of ? Thanks

Any location close to the engine is good. I would not mount them with a hose clamp like that. Go ahead and make some tabs on the backbone to bolt the coils on.
Show us a pic of the bike in progress.

Location looks fine. I don't even see that much of a problem using clamps like that. However, the pole pieces (cores) of the coils as mounted stock are grounded to help reduce electromagnetic noise. The TCI probably isn't that susceptible to noise, but I'd still recommend not defeating the noise suppression like that. Even if the TCI doesn't care, your cell phone, GPS, garage door opener, etc, may appreciate it.
