    I can't see any obvious cylinders protruding anywhere and there appears to be a rotor symbol on the end case so I am going to guess a rotary engine of some flavor, Mazda? Who else made rotaries? Sort of cool from an engineering standpoint but still a radical chopper so .... useless except to show off fabrication skills.

    Wankel Rotary! Wankel, that was the word I was looking for. It took a few minutes for the coffee to find the neuron and the right word.

    Suzuki RE5 Wankel engine.
    If it's been rebuilt with modern seals it's likely good for ages.

    The motor caught my attention immediately
    At first it looks like a supercharger or something built in.
    It does say Suzuki on the clutch cover that gave it away for me.
