creating tank badges?

    i was wondering if any one has ever tried to make their own tank badges? one of mine is in okay shape, just broken in half at the 'M'. the other one is in a few more pieces. i was thinking of making a mold out of clay and using some sort of appoxie to form a new badge that is in one piece? any one ever try this before or something similar?

    cuz maybe if ur interested can work out a deal on all the badges on my bike whatever ones you want some are little faded but no cracks have all the yamaha and maxim 550 emblems coming off tomorrow im debadging the bike

    is it the gold yamaha badge? I need a right side tank emblem. If OP doesn't want it let me know. Will the badge fit the 650 maxim? 1982.

    The 550 and 650 tank badges are interchangeable, yes. They're the screw on type.

    I had some "badges" made out of engineering grade reflective decal material - Not all of them are installed yet, but they will match the reflective pinstripe decals I installed on my luggage and fairing.
