on the right side the clutch side... there is a cable for the starter... which if the clutch is not in or what ever it does not engage... can this be removed easily .. I havnt looked... but the plastic trim that clips into the clutch is broken.. so I am going ot loose the whole lot in one I think

?? The clutch switch goes into the left hand lever perch. Is that what you're talking about?

ok .. forget about the switch..

you have a clutch cable on the left handle grip.... and you also have another cable on that same handle grip... this acts like a kill switch for the bike to some degree... I want to bypass that one.

I know I know there is a propper kill switch on the right side.. but I only am interested in this one cable on the left ....

I will take photos tomorrow.. and or just fix it... but I was hoping someone might know what I was on about before I started.. as it will be sorted by then.. oh well..

Right.. easy way to describe it.. you have two cables going into the left hand lever.. one is for your clutch.. the other is a cut off switch to ensure you can not start your bike without pulling in the clutch...

now I have removed the end that goes into the lever.. but am afraid to chase it at the minute without knowing the end .. ie where it goes.. anyone have information. btw i have already started prepping it for the chop

On all of my bikes (550 and 650 Secas) the clutch switch plugs into the main harness inside the headlight bucket. You should be able to simply unplug it.
