Detailing STUFF (need good chemicals)

    So whoever posted the AWESOME tip about the mothers back to black I must say THANK YOU> That stuff is great!
    The first bottle is gone and I'm on the way to get another bottle.

    What can I use to clean the plastic overflow reservoir (water cooled X)
    It's all cloudy and covered with residue and you can't really get anything inside. I fashioned a coat hanger with a rag at the end of last years project with mixed results.

    if you find somehting good let me know mike. I can't see in mind for nothing to tell the level. It would be nice to clean it up. I got in their with an old bottle brush and it helped a bit(baby bottle brush since I have to of the youngin's)

    I used soap water mixed with a bunch of rock salt when I cleaned my Magna's overflow tank. Shook it for about 10 minutes and it got 95% of crud out. It helps if you add a bit of citrus degreaser to the mix. It seems that citrus helps dissolve some of the minerals left from the coolant.
