    Hey everyone

I have a 1983 xj650 Maxim that I got last summer and got running and now I'm looking to get rid of the buckhorns and go for a handlebar that is a bit more sporty. I don't really know what style of handlebars I'm looking for just know that I don't care for the buckhorns. I've owned a Honda vt500 Ascot and a Yamaha fz6. I would like some suggestions and information on what I need to change out the handlebar and opinions on style. I plan on doing bar end mirrors so if I don't have to change the brake master cylinder or clutch perch that would be cool but I'm willing to do so if problems will arise if I don't. Just looking to make my bike my own. Thanks in advance

you will run into cable length issues. control wire issues brake hose issues and MC angle issues.
