Anybody know anything about epoxys that can be used to repair small leaks in my exhaust pipes? I've heard there are puttys that work. True?

depends on the repair. One of the "pre-owned" pipes I got for my 550 Seca while in generally good condition, had been dragged over something and the ega port/drain screw (different discussion there) had been "pulled" from the surface leaving a crack aound the little bump it screws into. I used an imported 2-part epoxy putty called "Milliput" (sold in most well stocked hobby shops) that claims it can be used for steam boilers, cisterns and "silencers" (that's British for "mufflers.") It seems to be holding well, but it is not a big repair nor is it in a "high-pressure" area, just high temp.
