Has anybody ever tried Quiksteel Xtreme to repair a cracked exhaust ? Did it hold well? Where do you use to buy it?

That product is rated for 2400 degrees so it can stand the very high temperatures reached at the very first end of the exhaust system.

I have, and it's fine. I prefer using a hot-steel glue gun though.

Yep. It has proven to be the best $500 I have ever spent on a tool.

I messed around with a cheap flux-core unit for years, best $500 I spent as well was the nice Hobart mig with a bottle I got 3 years ago...it makes pretty welds that I can be proud of, and its easy to pull out of the corner for small jobs or big jobs alike.

I have a small Lincoln Electric flux core unit that I purchased more than 2 decades ago. Works great, have used it for so many different things and also have lent it out a few times as well.
