I am swapping handlebars. The new handlebars require extending the front brake hose by 3" to 4".

The first idea is to use a coupler from any old motorcycle and the shortest hose I can find.

What would be great is if I can find a short rigid hose with banjo connectors at each end.

    Has anyone done this?

try this link they have a 5 inch hose
    https://www.z1enterprises.com/search?q=brake+hose

you could make a rigid line if the auto parts store has the proper fitting for hose to mc or hose to union and a flaring tool
I would look at where the steel line has the best clearance

are they already braided steel hoses? im not sure if you could just get longer cables and replace the old ones if they are old instead of making the current ones reach with an extension

The OEM brake lines on the front has both front calipers and the master cylinder lines as a complete unit that joins together in a steel "T". The only way to extend is to attach an extension at the master cylinder.

The below link could work except it needs a 90 degree bend at the end farthest from the master cylinder.

It looks like a short hose and a junction will be what will work for off-the-shelf items.

Adding more joints to a hydraulic system is not the best solution. Chacal (or any local shop that deals in hydraulics) can make a new line to the length that you need.
