Favorite Wax?

    What type of wax do you use on your xj's painted body parts? What's the best? What's some to watch out for?

    there are sooo many quality waxes out now i dont kno whow yu could go wrong. personally i just use lemon pledge.

    smells goood too

    Tank, windshield, helmet, chrome, etc - all of the above.

    Lemon Pledge rocks. Cleans and leaves a thin protective film behind that sheds water like all get-out.

    I even use it on my van's windshield - screw RainX or others, this works just as well... with the drawback that you have to apply it a wee bit more often.

    Some people have complained about a little bit of blurring when used on windshields/faceshields, but that's only when the wax layer's a bit too thick. Just have to rub it down a little more and it clears right up.

    I've detailed cars for a long time and I have always used Meguiars. Like it says, there are a lot of good waxes out there.
