I am sorry if this topic has been posted before but I could not seem to find it.
I have a 1985 Maxim XJ700N that I love to death BUT with the gearing of the transmission and the final drive when cruising on the highway/interstate I'm sitting at 6500 rpms doing 75 mph. I'm sure that is the norm for my bike but I was wondering if there was a way to redo the gearing in the final drive or able to swap it out with another one. I'm not wanting to go fast its just I would rather be able to cruise at lower rpms.
