Finally got my clutch just right

    Gang,
    Since I got me clutch sorted the knock from the drive shaft seemed to have gone away.Is it possible that the reason for the knock was due to a badly adjusted clutch.?

    Hey Foolber.
    Thanks for the reply.
    There doesn't seem to be any stretch in the cable so i simply adjusted the lever end until I could find neutral easily... Small turns on the adjuster at a time..At one stage I had it so bad the gears were very hard to shift.

    Sounds like, if your clutch was originally adjusted that slack then the clunk you heard could have been the gear dogs slamming into one another? Glad it's sorted :wink:
