    # 4 doesn't come to the party until a couple snaps on the throttle. Carbs are freshly cleanded and bench synched. Pilots Screws were set to 3 turns out at time of install.

Installed the carbs and fired it up but #4 didn't come alive. Thought it was just that I didn't leave it on Prime long enough before trying to start. Gave it some revs and #4 came in. Took it for a test drive and all was well. Bike idled fine at 1000rpm.

Next day I get home from work and figure another little spin around the neighborhood is in order (still have other work to do before any "rides"). Did the same thing. I shut it down and pulled the plug. It was dry and reading lean. I richened that side to 3-3/4 turns out. Started up but still only 3 cyl until I give it a couple braps on the throttle. Took it for a ride and all was well.

Next day. I wanted to see if richening it up helped. Fired right up but only on 3.

Any thoughts appreciated. I spent some serious time cleaning the carbs and especially the enrichment circuits.

    Thanks

Issue resolved by correcting float/fuel level.

This weeks projects: balance carbs, colortune, change fluids.

I'm glad you figured it out and thanks for posting a follow-up. Now the solution is known to the rest of us.
