first ride today!! in need of some parts though

so ive been looking for my fuse box for 2 weeks, i found it at my brothers house after i had put the carb back on. after i soldered the wires to the fuse box i put gas in and it started right up. this made me very excited as i bought this bike for about 300 dollars and have done minimal work on it in my opinion, so i was delighted. a problem i am currently experiencing is the bike running a little dry but the real issue is my lack of clutch cable. the only way i could test it out was to put a vise grip on the clutch turner(really technical term i know) and use my right leg to shift. i went looking for a cable today and as a broke person upwards of 60 dollars in all for the cable is out of my current range. any suggestions in the thirty dollar to zero dollar range would be appreciated. thanks for the past and future advice guys.

Good price but remember you get what you pay for. I get the budget thing but sometimes you gotta cry once and buy the good parts.
