    Today, after having made the bike rideable (put in place the freshly welded and not repainted front fender, re-mounted the rotten exhausts, placed the new handlebar) i enjoied a small ride (about 30 km, i guess something like 18 - 19 miles) to the seaside in Noordwijk.

    Guess it was a good chance to place a couple of pics....there's still much to do, but...it's always nice!

    Yes, or at least they are OEM, but i suspect they are the original...even if they look still nice, the bottom and internal side are unbelievable rotten and full of holes, beyond any chance of reparation.

    Just 15 min. ago, the postman delivered me the 2nd hand replacements i bought on ebay that looks like that

    Now i'm busy polishing it and spraying a couple of coats of black on the back part...just a little bit oxidation, otherwise they are sane, not bad for 65 euros!
