fixing carby rubber diaphrams

    I recently replaced the cracking rubber diaphrams on my XJ650 RJ, only to discover the replacements were not that much better.

    I applied some Loctight aviation gaskit, and it has worked a treat! perfect seal. It is best to let them sit on the bench to dry for about 30 minutes before putting them back on the bike though.

    I will have to check the seals in a couple of days to ensure all is well, but so far the bike is running much better.
