    Ok, So I finally got the bike running good enough to sync up the carbs and as soon as I went to do just that. Fuel started just pouring out of the air box side of carb #4.

    I took the carbs back off and hooked the fuel back up to the carbs and set it on prime. Gas started coming out but here is the tricky part. When I pushed the float up the gas stopped flowing!

    This leads me to believe the level needs to be adjusted.
    Could this be another issue or was that a good way to test this?

    Is it the tang in the middle that attaches to the float needle?
    Sorry if that sounds dumb I,ve never done this but so far you guys have helped greatly.

    Also, I saw the post on here with the plastic tube method and I dont really understand how you got those to stick in there? Just shove em in? If so, what size hose is that?

    Thanks!
    Nick

    That's exactly how you do it.

    -You'll need to improvise a way to mount the rack so that it's level in all directions;

    -scrounge up a small plastic fitting of some sort that you can plug into the drain hole and attach the hose to;

    -and then set all 4 floats to spec. Adjustment is by gently tweaking the little tang that pushes up on the needle. If you bend it enough to know you bent it, you probably went too far.
