I have a 1983 (XJ750) Midnight Maxim for sale. The bike has been sitting for close to five years (I was out of the country for most of it) Prior to storing it, the bike was drained and Sea Foam was added.

Overall, the bike is still intact and solid, although it would probably take some time and NOT a lot of money to get it up and running. Right now, both the clutch and throttle are frozen. However, prior to storing it, it ran fine.

A little history: The last year that I rode the bike, it was stolen in late Spring. Until that time, it was cherry and a veritable show piece. The bike was returned a few months later when the police stopped some kid riding it without a license plate. The VIN was checked, they busted him and it was returned to me -- albeit not in the pristine condition that it had been previously. The bags were gone as was the windshield and the Yamaha insignia(s) on the tank. Too, the battery cover plate was removed and disposed of in order to hot-wire the ignition.

While the bike is not what it once was, it is still a decent bike and ripe for a makeover. If anything, it's a hell of a lot more than just parts bike. It would make a great winter's project for the right individual.

So, if anyone is interested, hit me up and we can discuss it. The bike is located just outside of Chicago. It also has it's title. Sorry,no pictures are available at this time.

    Best,

    David
