Fairly easy DIY job. Only special tool needed is for the 19mm hex bolt that holds the fork tube in the fork leg. This can be homemade or simply improvised by using two long socket extensions and a sparkplug socket turned backwards. On some sparkplug sockets there is a 19 mm hex head at the top. Seals are easily pressed in using a section of PVC pipe.
I would suggest getting the seals from the dealer. The "Leak Proof" brand has had mixed results. I have had both in my hands and would no doubt use the dealer parts.
