found a semi rough looking maxim x on CL

hey guys found this on CL thought someone might be interested it is located in southern Mi.

that would be a good parts bike for mine, but i don plan on going to kalamazoo anytime soon, and mines aircooled but i odnt think theres much of a difference... lol he'd probably take 150, gosh.

 

that is about 35 min from me body wise they are the same., pipes would work for ya. If my circumstances were different it would be in my shed for spare parts for my bike.

 

lol tell me about it, with like 100 bucks you could fix it up, sand the tanks and stuff down and jsut spray it with a can of spray paint. then there you have a beat on bike and still can use it for parts.... you may wish to buy it tho, cuz i imagine the carbs will got for 100 buck on ebay, the motor 200.. its too bad its missing thsoe covers cuz those are 50 ea lol

 

Ah, good old K-zoo. You know the place has a confidence problem when you see signs that say "Yes, there really IS a Kalamazoo"... posted around downtown Kalamazoo. I know GM pulled up and left. Is Upjohn still there?

Don't know what an Upjohn is?? I am originally form the Detroit area and moved to Marshall about 4 years ago.

well tell us if u get it and if u got him down to a beter price, try 150 dude, then go to 175, and 200, etc.

There's got to be a good reason that bike was parked and forgot about.
Whatever it is ... (after looking at the pix) ... I bet it ain't something simple.
That deal just has a very funny-sounding and funny-looking aspect to it that makes me think that there's something off-kilter about it.

Nobody else got that impression?

 

o did, but the fact he didnt email me back with the vin number so i could get a vin search done makes me think it might be stolen. i thought requwsting a vin number wasnt asking too much.
