frame question

    Looks like a factory weld and bend. Which part of the frame are we seeing? I can't really tell.

    the empty space on the pic is the battery slot. they look like factory things to me too but i wanted to hear your opinions. there are also other spots on the frame that propably wouldnt pass todays quality standards.
