Front calipers, do they make a readily available rebuild kit-dual disc frontend?

Front pads-aftermarket(good to best)? Looking for suggestions.

Never have dealt with air-assisted front forks(bike currently on jack for brake work)-buddy rode, said felt soft(he is 6'2", 270-might be him), what pressure should it be set at? Any tests that can be performed while it is in air? Thanks for any info that can be passed on-need to get a servie manual, just not high on priority listm Thanks.............

    Welcome to the club!
Check with chacal (xj4ever) he should have everything you need for the calipers. Just click on the xj4ever link at the top of the page. I think brakes are the 3rd or 4th page.
As far as brake pads, I don't know about "best" but most readily available aftermarket pads I think are EBC, from what I've seen (been looking too)
I don't know diddly about air shocks, but someone on here does and I'm sure they can answer that question very soon.
And definitely move the service manual up on the priority list! Other than this site it is the most important source of information on these bikes out there.
.....And don't forget to check the rear brakes if you haven't already.

Thanks.....After letting the one caliper sit here for a few hours w/ WD-40 and a larger C-Clamp the piston slid back in. Tomorrow will get new brake fluid, polish slide pins and hit with antisieze and see what happens. Did not write down the make, but got a kick outta the front tire, tread pattern looks like flames.
