FS 1985 maxim 700 $700 College costs too much!

    Well, selling my maxim 700, 23K miles, starts up with 1/2 of the crank everytime, idles great, runs great, only hiccup with the carbs is when its idleing, and cold, when you rev it up it stutters, but this isnt noticable when riding, and once its warm, it revs like a champ

    the fork seals weep and will need to be replaced, tires are OK for awhile, looks great.

    this bike is a "custom" 4 speed. AKA, the second gear problem, ive put 3K miles on it skipping second, you really get used to it.

    it has harley sportster mufflers, I installed some cheesy LED lights on it, easy to rip off, all electronics work, comes wiht a set of cv500 mufflers that were on it, look like the stockers.

    all in all this is a comfy bike with a great feel, i never noticed, but the clutch and throttle pull are way lighter than my seca 750...

    test rides are welcome, as long as you have a cycle endorsement or a deposit
