    Fairing Mount is up on ebay

    I have for sale the mounting bracket for a Vetter Windjammer, The radio kit from said Windjammer and the Vetter Hard Bag luggage kit. All came with a 1982 XJ750J Maxim

    The radio is AM/FM Cassette and works though one speaker is missing the cover and not working and the other speaker doesn't sound great. The rubber bands that hold the cover closed/open are missing and one of the hinge clips has a tab broken. It still sits right but it's not a snap in on one side.

    All of the chrome is a bit rusty and everything is extremely dust/dirty right now.

    The trunk is supposed to be mounted with rubber vibration dampened bolts but they are all separated. I should be able to find replacements local to maintain the "Floating Mount". The wiring pig tail is with the trunk.

    The Trunk is not removable but the side bags have a keyed mount that lets you take them off and carry them.

    I have keys for the trunk and side bags.

    I'm thinking $40.00 + shipping for the Windjammer bracket.

    $200.00 + Shipping for the bag kit.

    $50.00 + shipping for the radio kit.

    It's hard to say if your prices are off base. My perspective is a bit skewed.

    (I LUCKILY grabbed 2 complete sets of of Fairing, Bags and Trunks for $100 each set - minus the radio housing and only one came off an xj750 - Both were off of CL so no shipping).

    I do wish I had another XJ750 specific fairing bracket as well as the bag/trunk mounting kit, but I don't think I can afford them ATM :(

    Yeah, every once in a while a great deal can be found on CL!

    I just paid $450.00 including shipping for a KG hard bag kit and $40.00 + shipping for a Windjammer mount for my GS850. This is where I based my prices.
