The floats in the carbs are stuck open, sometimes a tap with a plastic hammer will set them free. If not its time to remove the carbs and give them a good cleaning and tune. Since the fuel made it to the driveshaft boot it is most likley in the oil, change you oil and filter before you run the engine. We don't want a dammaged engine.
