fuel petcock

    I seem to leak some fuel when I have it set on PRI but the leak seems to stop when I select reserve. Does anyone know why this is? By leaking I mean there is a drop of fuel on the outside of the petcock not that it lets fuel flow when the bike is not running. Do I need to replace the entire petcock or is there a gasket internally or o-ring that needs to be replaced.

    There is a round shaped ruuber gasket behind the position selector that could be worn out in only one place. I would try to put a new gasket from Len Chacal and see if it soves the problem.
