fuel sensor location????

    You guys did so good with the gas mileage question I have another. Where is the fuel sensor located on a 82 xj750 exactly, and how do I get to it to check/clean the connection? I am mechanically challenged so don't get too technical. Thanks for the help. Also.... Will it cause problems if i just remove the warning bulb in the monitoring system?

    Hey,flash. The sending unit is under the tank. If you remove the tank and flip it over,you'll see it. Hope this helps.
