Can anyone tell me what tanks will fit an 81 xj650. Will a Seca tank fit the maxim. mine developed a leak in the rear seam and I have sealed tanks before with Kreem, but would rather replace with a good tank that doesn't leak or need to be sealed.

A good quality epoxy sealer will do the job well if applied correctly. That said, hogfiddles has a thread somewhere that details fuel tank interchanges. Perhaps someone will come along who can link it for you.
