Full throttle, barely idles, happens sporadically.

Happened a few times, but seemed to go away. The last time it stuck and i haven't tried it since. (couple of days)

When I drop down to idle, it almost dies and I have to keep it full throttle to stay alive. Barely idles at full throttle, then kicks in (sometimes) and revs normally.

    Any thoughts?

Have you charged the battery? Most times when people think carburation, the prob turns out to be ignition. Almost sounds like it's only running on one cylinder then the others kick in....wierd. Have you got a fuel filter on it?

Where are you located? If you list it in your profile, you might find some local help.

Could be the petcock screwing up too or a kinked gas line.
